Here's how YOU can help

As you can well imagine, a production the size and scope of the Nutcracker requires a great deal of work and countless man hours to accomplish.  Inter-City is a nonprofit volunteer organization.  We rely on our dancers, their families, and the community to assist us in bringing all our productions to life.

Every year we ask our parents and other family members to become actively involved in the Nutcracker experience.  We recognize that this time of year is busy for us all.  However, if we all participate, the amount of time required by any one person is lessened substantially.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!   We are asking each of our dancer families to commit to at least two (2) volunteer activities.  This can be divided among different family members and different activities.  Please let us know if you know of any neighbors, grandparents, aunts/uncles or supportive friends who would also like to help out.  We will try our best to schedule everyone in the volunteer activity that they prefer.  We make every effort to contact ALL our Nutcracker families for their assistance.

You will receive a parent volunteer form at the audition/workshop.  This two-sided form needs to be completely filled out and returned at the registration table.  Someone will contact you at a later time to schedule your volunteer activity.   The volunteer form is not a final assignment.  You may make changes when the committee volunteer contacts you.  Also, the date and time of various activities will be discussed at that time.  Committees will be formed with a chairman coordinating the efforts of that particular group.
