We would like to extend to all members of our community an opportunity to become a supporter of the Arts and  Intercity Ballet Theatre, either through the Philanthropist or Patron program, or by Advertising in our Nutcracker Program (brochure).  We have accomplished a great deal over the past 30 years, but our mission is ongoing.  To continue to bring excellence in the art of dance to our region, we must depend on the support of corporations, small businesses, and private citizens. We have been very blessed in the past with the support we have received from a diverse group of generous benefactors. We need the continued support and gifts from our community to thrive and grow. We cordially invite you to join with us in our endeavor to sustain the Arts in Northeast Tennessee.

Your monetary support will provide for you, your family and the community at large the joy and thrill of live classical ballet, outstanding guest artists and the satisfaction of knowing that you have participated in helping to keep the Arts alive and well in our region.

Each year  Intercity continues to provide free dance instruction and performances to charitable organizations. For the past several years,  Intercity Ballet Theatre has offered low or no cost admission to area school children and adults who are physically or financially challenged.  Last year our Nutcracker School Performances were a phenomenal success.  A third show was added to accommodate a record number of requests for seats. Children and adults came from all over Eastern Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

Patrons

Inter-City’s Patrons program has enabled area school children and physically and/or financially challenged adults to attend our performances at no charge. This will be our twenty second year of performing The Nutcracker. We need your help to bring this time-honored and beloved ballet to life. It is through the support of our Philanthropists and our Patron ticket sales that we are able to offer day performances for area school children. Last year, Inter-City was able to provide over four thousand patron tickets and some busing for transportation for deserving students and adults to attend. With the financial assistance of individuals, such as yourself, we hope to expand our ability to serve the children and challenged of our community even more. We need your help!!



Patron ticket sales enable us to continue our school outreach program of day performances, as well as support area dancers who could not otherwise afford to participate in the company productions. Your contribution of $50 will help bring 25 people to the theater to experience the Arts. In return, you will receive two tickets in the reserved section in the front of the theater for the public performance of your choice. Your name will also be listed in the program. The publication of our performance program provides businesses and service providers in our area a unique opportunity to support the Arts, while reaching thousands of patrons with your printed advertisement.  Our programs are free of charge to the attendees of our performances.

Last year Intercity’s production of The Nutcracker was performed to two full theater audiences. This will be our twenty seventh year and looks to be our most successful year to date.

We need your support to enable us to
continue to bring the Nutcracker to life

Each year we bring in professional guest artists from around the country. Costumes for over 150 dancers, props, and scenery make the Nutcracker a very expensive production.  As a non-profit organization,  Intercity would be unable to meet the substantial costs of a production as large as The Nutcracker without the help of our area businesses.
