Ballet Mistress

Margaret King-Walling began her study of dance at Holloway Dancing School and  Intercity Ballet under the directorship of Reese Holloway Toohey. She has studied with George Latimer, David Howard, Anna-Marie Holmes, Dorothy Hanner Ratcliff, and Susan Pace-White. She has performed numerous roles and solo sections for  Intercity, such as Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker Ballet. Currently, she is Co-Director of Holloway Dance School and  Intercity is pleased to have her as a Ballet Mistress.

Candi Young  began her dance career at the age of three with Louise Dickson,  Dorothy Ratcliff, and Teresa Weatherford.  Candi has performed in many venues to include:  Walt Disney World’s Disney Magic Music Days, Kingsport's Showtime, Miss Kingsport Pageant, Bristol’s Celebration of Dance, KADA’s production of Beauty and the Beast, as well as Intercity Ballet Theatre’s productions of Graduation Ball and The Nutcracker.  As a member of ICBT, her roles have included Party Child, Chinese, Arabian, Tree Fairy, Snow, and Flowers.  Candi is returning this year to reprise her role as Snow Queen.  She currently teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop with Centre for the Performing Arts Studios.
